RP No 66 Russo-Japanese War Japanese Artillery

Back to the figures I painted for the Analouge Painting Challenge, for today's post. This group of artillery are for Posties Russo-Japanese War collection,  the blue-coated troops are from Old Glory, while the khaki couloured are from Irregular Miniatures, as is most of Posties RJW collection!!! They do really need a spot of ink in my opinion?? But Postie won't here of it. Talking of Postie, he's not quite ready for a game yet, but I'm sure it won't be too long and we'll be having a bash with these.

  4. Very nice. I agree that a little ink would be nice on the cannons, but not absolutely necessary.

  17. Ray they look good. One question when do you get time to play games with them as you have to be painting all the time, lol

  18. No games with them yet, I would think it'll be another couple of months before we get a game. You need a job like mine, 99% of my painting is done at work, which leaves me loads of time to get a few games in!!!

  29. These early tensions meant that when the Empire of Japan emerged from a long period of being largely isolated and determined, through the Meiji Restoration, to become a major power and not a European colony, Russia was at a disadvantage. From day one, the Japanese were, albeit carefully, willing to deal with powers such as France and Great Britain but were less well disposed toward Russia. For the Russians, geography made Japan a natural enemy. I liked your blog, Take the time to visit the me and say that the change in design and meniu?
